VW to double US sales by 2012-13


Volkswagen of America’s President and CEO Stefan Jacoby has gone on the record and stated that the company plans to double sales in the US by the year 2012 or 2013, an ambitious goal indeed. He expects the company to sell a total of 400,000 to 450,000 vehicles by that time, compared to only around 200,000 vehicles the company old in 2009.
