VW Has Three New Golfs Ready
The VW Golf seems to have been around the world for ever. Probably Adam and Eve had a red earlier version, which must have been quite useful in Heaven.
In the modern real world, VW has in mind three new models. A new 210 horsepower GTI will be shown in Paris and it will start selling in 2009. The Mk. VI GTI will go from 0 to 60 in a little over 7 seconds while the top speed will be somewhere around 150 mph.
The GTD version will come sometime in April 2009 and it will get you some 170 horsepower. The R version will arrive in November 2009 and it will be available through Volkswagen Individual. The R will have four-wheel drive and it will get you a max of 270 horsepower.
