Volkswagen is ready to power the Scirocco with two new engines. The new standard engine is the 1.4 liter TSI engine which will get you 160 horsepower and 43 mpg. The second engine offered in the Base and GT trim is a 2.0 liter diesel engine which will get you some 140 horsepower and 55 mpg.
The Base version will get a six-disc CD changer, which I would conveniently change for any MP3 player, air conditioning and exclusive 17 inch alloys. The GT will let you choose your favorite between a six-speed manual or the DSG gearbox.
The Base version costs about £18,790 or $32,600 but you’ll have to head on over to the UK to order one. The Scirocco isn’t yet available in the USA.
