Volvo to Fire 4,000 People
It looks like this worldwide economic crisis is being felt everywhere. Volvo, the Swedish car maker didn’t do that good this month, at least in the U.S. and probably in other parts of the world. Volvo had a 51,8% drop in U.S. sales in the last month which is bad right?
Volvo has decided to fire about 4,000 people worldwide. That includes 2,230 employees at the Volvo Car Corporation in Gothenburg and about 1,300 people outside Sweden. I sure hope you don’t work for Volvo these days!
