Two days ago, Brian brought up the 2011 Ford Mustang GT right here, and now we’ve got just a little extra juice to make that even better. We’ve got VIDEO of the triumphant return of the American 5.0 right here!
That’s right, folks, the crew out at MotorTrend put this one together and man, are you ever going to be impressed by this! Much has been made of the 5.0 liter V8 engine Ford put inside this puppy, but will the video show it off?
Oh, you know they will. They pretty much had to. If Ford didn’t make it a contractual obligation I’d be downright amazed. But anyway! Yes, this sucker’s got a whopping four hundred twelve horsepower and a monster three hundred eighty foot-pounds of torque–all you need to know is that when they started this video up, not seven seconds later, that Ford was peeling rubber and blazing its way down a straightaway before going to a much more varied road surface.
