Late last night we reported to you that the US Government had suspended the Cash for Clunkers program until further notice due to its funds depleating at an alarming rate.
Well today we are greeted with a bit better news, the US House of Representatives has announced today that they have passed a bill that will effectively allocate an additional $2 billion for use with the Cash for Clunkers program. Of course, the Senate still has to vote but the chances of it passing seem very likely. They also said that the program has been unsuspended and will run through November 1st.
Those looking to cash in on this program, here’s your chance again, better act quick!
