Toyota iQ Arriving in the USA With Scion
It looks like this mini car from Toyota is coming to the U.S. The iQ seems like a scooter with doors to me but it might get you places. It will arrive at the LA Auto Show in November and the Toyota will be wearing Scion badges.
The iQ was designed for Japan and Europe initially. It has a weird 3+1 seating arrangement and it’s powered by a 1.0 liter three-pot or a 1.4 liter diesel engine. We might see Yaris’ 1.5 liter engine mounted on the iQ designed for the States.
So the Scion iQ might get a price tag of only $15,000. Pretty expensive for a scooter, but it has space for 3+1 inside.
