Toyota confirms rumor of the rusty frame recall

It would appear the rumors are true, about Toyota’s Tundra lack of rust-proofing, and about 110,000 of its 2000-2003 Tundra pickups will be recalled. Yeah, apparently this corrosion is bad enough to do a recall because it can cause the rear tire to fall out. Details of this recall are forthcoming, but they will probably happen in states that use certain road salts and deicing.
