Tom Wallace is Corvette’s Chief over at GM. An event at the Peterson Museum in honor of the Corvette history was the perfect occasion for his retiring to be announced. He is going to leave his current position on November 1st. There aren’t any clear motives to indicate this surprising move, but it seems that GM’s decision to postpone the Corvette 7 release from 2012 to 2014 or later, might be the very thing that caused a whole fuss. Eventually Wallace resigned and he managed to surprise quite a few people with his decision. Good luck to him, wherever he may arrive. Too bad he won’t be working on the Corvette 7 project anymore!
