Th!nk City is a modern electric car designed in Norway by the firm Th!nk Global. With zero emissions and energy efficiency three times that of a traditional combustion engine car, Th!nk City was designed with urban driving in mind and may well the killer electric car application the U.S. is waiting for. Although it has not yet been released in the United States, a Silicon Valley company has plans to begin production in the U.S. within two years.
The Th!nk City will reach a top speed of 65 MPH and go 110 miles on a single charge, making it an ideal commuter car for big city driving. The price tag should be fairly reasonable too, around $25,000. Until recently, all-electric vehicles have failed to catch on due to low top speeds and a too-limited range, but that is changing. One fun perk: The Th!nk City will also be made of 95% recycled materials. That’s eco-chic that works!
