The MAX–A Green Car With A Great Pedigree

It’s a car that can be built by a dedicated amateur in just over one week’s worth of manhours and a whopping ten grand. It seats two and it runs on vegetable oil.
It’s not technically available yet, but currently being designed and the kinks of same being pounded out regularly is the two seater MAX vehicle. When it’s finally done, it’ll be all of those things I just described, and frankly, that’s worth the wait by any standard.
The MAX is the brain child of Jack McCornack, an engineer with a cripplingly massive pedigree that includes, brace yourself, the Pterodactyl line of ultralight/microlight aircraft, two recently declassified “black projects” for the US Department of Defense, and some specialized aircraft for movies. Specifically, the Switchblades from Die Another Day.
You know you’d drive a car made by the guy who invented the Switchblade. I would, anyway, so when the MAX finally makes it to market, I’ll be up toward the front of the line.
