General Motors Corp. popped out the new 2010 Cadillac SRX crossover vehicle just in time for Detroit Motor Show. The new Cadillac replaces the 2004 launched SRX model. It’s curving roofline and rounded nose gives the old aggressive look. GM is counting on the new vehicle to give competition to its best-selling rivals.
“For GM, it’s our most aggressive brand,” said Clay Dean, GM’s global director for Cadillac design. “We want to appeal to people that set the trends.”
The Cadillac SRX boasts an A 3-liter direct-injection V-6 engine with an option for the 2.8-liter turbocharged V-6. The fuel economy (in highways per gallon) testing is yet to complete however, GM approximates it may lie between the mid-20s. The 2010 SRX Cadillac is expected to hit the US roads by middle 2009. Prices are yet to be declared.
