The best advice for any new car buyer is buy used. Get a mechanic to look the car over but never buy new. I’d recommend looking at either craigslist.com or repofinder.com for something local and priced right. After you find a good car you can research prices and reviews at kbb.com. Don’t buy retail. It isn’t worth it.

Well I tend to agree with MiketheDude. Besides, buying used cars are really more practical for people still starting out their careers.
