This was announced at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas. The vehicle will be offered in three models: the Intro, the Performance, and the Venom. Among the leaked features of the G.T. 500CR include a 427 cubic inch engine, model specific bodyworks, custom paint, hand-stitched upholstery and an official Shelby serial number. For pricing, the introductory model is said to start for $119,000.

Contrary to reports that this vehicle is a hybrid, it is actually a new Lexus model which is pegged to be one of the most fuel-efficient cars in its lineup.

They say MPG will be “higher than the Smart microcar,” which is currently rated at 33 city/41 highway. With a decent sized four-cylinder 2.4-liter engine that produces 187 horsepower, that’s an accomplishment.
