Top Gear fanatics might remember how the Black Stig was replaced with the White Stig after the first one drove a Jaguar XJS off an aircraft carrier. The video here shows him emerging from the sea. Obviously the water is a complicated environment and it must have taken the Black Stig five years to find his way home.

Here’s what the press release that came with the video says:

until now, the original Stig from BBC Top Gear was thought to have been killed back in 2003, when he drove a modified Jaguar XJS off the end of HMS Invincible aircraft carrier at 109mph. . . The nation was shocked that the Stig was dead. However, recent footage has been found on YouTube showing that he miraculously survived.

The White Stig has been exposed therefore Top Gear needs a new Stig. Why not go back to the Black version?

I am sure you too prefer the original Top Gear show so if your home base is America then you’ll be happy to know that BBC AMERICA will premiere the new, original Top Gear season.

The new season of Top Gear will premiere on Monday, February 9, 8:00 PM ET/PT. So no matter if you’ve somehow seen the new episodes, and notice how I am not mentioning anything about any type of legal or illegal downloading, you will enjoy them again soon on BBC AMERICA. Top Gear 10 and 11 are available on iTunes already at special prices when getting the entire seasons.

I am not going to reveal any of the episode synopsis, which by the way are available already in more than one place, but I just want to remind you that you’ll be able to check all that Top Gear Tesla Roadster testing we’ve been talking about earlier.

Which Top Gear version do you like best? While everyone likes the original BBC show, some happen to love Top Gear USA or Australia. And some happen not to like it at all. NBC has passed on the show but have no fear Top Gear USA lovers! There’s always cable and BBC wants to see that happening. When and what will happen with the American show? We’ll keep you posted. Until there’s always Clarkson, Hammond and May to watch.

That’s only a teeny weeny bit of the madness we’re about to see in Top Gear 12. Clarkson, Hammond and May are arriving on November 2nd so tune in to BBC somehow. No matter where you are in the world you’d have to get the original show and watch it. No other spin off, although I haven’t actually had the time or the patience to watch one, is worth watching. You get my point right?

So did you like all the supercars there? But what about the big trucks. What are the guys doing? That’s what I want to see!

Out of all the car shows available today, Top Gear is certainly one of the most interesting and challenging. It’s always fun to watch as you never know what the guys are going to do next. It’s not like the regular let’s-describe-the-car-show.

Season 10 of Top Gear is now available on iTunes. So go ahead and download it right now. It’s $1.99 an episode or $14.99 for the season pass. The new season starts on November 2 so you have enough time to relive old seasons.

The original Knight Rider series was one of my favorite shows. The new series will air on Wednesday, September 24th. The new KITT, in the picture above is ready for new adventures. Real fans will have their eyes glued to TV’s in awe. The car that knows how to walk and talk is back again.

And it looks ready to chase those bad guys. The show’s pilot was aired back in February and the shows is ready to start. Hopefully it will get at least the same attention it’s predecessor did. At least we’re going to see some good looking cars, if the whole acting won’t measure up to our expectations.
