We have an awfully long way to go until we’re going to fully rely on electric cars to move around our fully electric cities, but we absolutely have to start somewhere. San Francisco is the place where we can start as the city has officially made arrangements to offer Smartlet electric vehicle charging station outside City Hall.

The chargers came on loan from Coulomb Technologies and they will be used to charge cars from ZipCar, City CarShare and another unmentioned yet electric car. If you’re over in San Francisco and happen to own one of those electric cars, make sure you drop us a line about how this City Hall initiative works for you.

In case you don’t have a hybrid yet get ready to get one. Inevitably you will end up driving some kind of electrical car soon. And the cities have to prepare to fuel all those electric cars that their going to host.

San Francisco and the bay area is going to be ready for getting all those hybrid and electrical cars. The administration will hook you up with electric hookups at street charging stations and even tax incentives for EV buyers.
