What you see above may appear to be a 2-door hatchback but instead it is the SEAT Leon Cupra R 4-door hatchback (yes, look closely there are actually 4 doors) that was recently showcased at this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show.

Other than its awesome green paint job this vehicle utilizes a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine capable of producing 265hp and a sprint from 0-60mph in a none-too-bad 6.1 seconds. What’s even better, while maintain a decent horsepower output the SEAT Leon Cupra R still manages to maintain right around 29mpg.

Couple all of that with 19-inch wheels, low profile tires, R badges and beefy brakes and you have yourself a very interesting vehicle.

iMotor has recently gotten their hands on Volkswagen’s new Scirocco R and have released pictures of the beautiful car for all to see.

The Scirocco R will feature a 2.0 TFSI 265 hp engine, 6 speed or DSG transmission and a price tag of £26,000. Other than that it will have the XDS differential featured in the new 2010 GTI, tuned suspension, and custom breaks.

Too bad this thing will only hit showrooms in the UK sometime in 2010 for £26,000.
