Lexus has a supercar scheduled to appear at the Tokyo Motor Show in October. Although it was delayed for quite a while the LF-A will appear in just a few months. The LF-A will get you a top speed of at least 218 mph thanks to a new 4.8-liters V10 engine capable of 550 hp and a six-speed semi-automatic gearbox.
Only 500 lucky buyers will be able to get the LF-A as Lexus will not make more than 500 units. The buyers will have to pay about $200,000 to own one and it could be available as early as 2010.

The BLUE-WILL will get you a direct-injected 1.6-liter gas engine, a CVT transmission and a 100kw electric motor. The car will offer you more eco-friendly features like headlamp bezels made from recycled plastic bottles or it will use plastics developed from plant extracts. The Seoul Motor Show in Korea will show you, among other things, that C200 concept crossover from SsangYong. The concept was first shown last year at the Paris Motor Show but now it’s ready to go into production. The Korean automaker says that the new C200 is similar to the Honda CRV and Toyota RAV4. The CUV will come with a 175-horsepower, 2.0-liter diesel engine and four-wheel drive. More details should be unveiled next month when the car will be officially unveiled. What do you think? Could you be interested in a C200?

Well it’s finally official folks! The Opel Ampera has been unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show and the car is GM’s European version of the Chevy Volt. The design is impressive and the car feels like something we’d like to drive and brag about it. Unfortunately we’ll have to wait until late 2011 to get our hands on it as that’s the official production date. Specs-wise the Ampera will be similar to the Volt. There’s a 16kWh lithium-ion battery inside which will give you an autonomy of about 37 miles and a gas powered generator which recharges the depleted battery and thus the range is extended to 500 miles.
What do you think about the Ampera? What would you rather drive? The Volt or the Ampera?

Interested in that 2010 Mecedes-Benz E-Class sedan? Well then stick around as we have more E-Class news for you. The E-Class Coupe is set to arrive at the Geneva Motor Show while the wagon and convertible versions are en route to the Frankfurt Auto Show which will take place in September. Soon after the Auto Show, the wagon version will be available for purchase while the convertible will be available in November. Maybe not the happiest season to drive a convertible.
We don’t have all the features of these E-Class versions just yet but we have plenty of times to get them before you head over to Frankfurt.

We’re counting on the Geneva Motor Show to deliver at least a few nice surprises. One of them could be a new Giorgetto Giurgiario concept hybrid car which is already said to be the fastest in the world. It’s probably an upgraded version of the Italdesign Quaranta, a hybrid model shown last year at Geneva.
The gas-electric coupe should be able to arrive comfortably at 186 mph, but we’d still have to wait for official confirmation. Will the new design wear the same 3.3-liter V6 hybrid engine seen in the Quaranta? The answers to all our questions should arrive later next month from Geneva. In the mean time we can admire the concept pictures and dream about hybrid supercars and future hybrid races.

The economic crisis is still at full throttle around the world, so this might not be the best of times to invest in a new car unless you’re skinny dipping in money. The Audi TT RS has been just made official, at least in pictures, and it looks like it would offer you that sweet ride your were looking for. And you’d probably have to pay the right price to get it.
The TT RS will arrive in two versions, the coupe and the convertible. Both models will offer you a 2.5-liter turbo five cylinder engine capable to get you 340 horsepower and 331 lb-ft of torque. The six-speed gearbox and the quattro channels power to all the wheels will contribute to that 0-62 mph time of only 5 seconds.
Want more of the TT RS? Go to Geneva next month and tell us all about it!

Missed the Lagonda from Aston Martin? Well miss no more as the company will bring a Lagonda concept over at the Geneva Motor Show. According to latest rumors the car will have four doors and it will be an evolution of Aston Martin’s past design. The Lagonda will probably be an ultra-luxurious type of sedan although nothing is sure until Aston Martin will show it off in Geneva. We’ll bring you more details in about two weeks and you can expect the concept to arrive “in stores” in 2012.

Renault has launched a teaser site which counts down the days until the new Renault Megane RS will be unveiled. Are we going to see the new RS arrive at the Geneva Motor Show? The Renault Megane RS will be available in both a three-door and a five-door model and we’re probably going to see an Megane R.26 turbocharged 2.0-liter engine capable of offering 250 hp which will translate into a 0-60 time of only six seconds. We’re still looking for the official features but the RS will be available in Europe this fall.
