Toyota South Florida Running on Girl Power

Friday, June 26th, 2009

Women have always been known to carry some potential as far as business is concerned. And now as far as Toyota South Florida is concerned, that cliché will be put to the test as the branch puts women in charge of managing business and made to improve on the current performance of the car dealership.

The management team tasked to lead Toyota South Florida is no pushover. Much of these women have highly qualified credentials and experience which should be bright sign. These new women are armed with more than 117 years of combined experience in the auto dealership business.

“When women come into a car dealership many expect to be taken advantage of, called sweetie or just expect to be treated as less than an equal. We find that when women, single moms or even young college grads come here they are surprised to see so many women working here and to be treated with respect and as a valued customer,” said Gretel Santana, New Car Sales Manager.

So if you think a woman should stay at home, guess again. With the repertoire of qualifications these women carry, it would not be surprising if something different occurs under their tutelage. Toyota of South Florida plans on holding a series of workshops to help women navigate any car dealership from when you enter the front door to when you pick up the keys.
