Aero-Mobile
One of the rarest cars in the world is coming up for auction. It is a 1936 Lincoln K Model V12 Limousine that quirky millionaire Howard Hughes reportedly took and converted it into what he imagined a 1936-37 Boat Tail Speedster should truly look like. The whole car was redesigned and restructured, resulting in a surprisingly aerodynamic vehicle that became known as the ‘Aero-Mobile’.
It has got classic good looks at the front while the tail has a home-made, bolted-on appearance on the back. It probably won’t win any awards based on beauty but it is a testament to Hughes’ ingenuity. The car will be sold at the Leake Collector Car Auctin in Tulsa, Oklahoma on June 13th

Banking on the buzz of new U.S. President Barack Obama’s presidential limousine, it looks like Texas Armoring will use this as a marketing tool for their various vehicle offering enhancements. In fact, a lot of people have already inquired if the exact model could be reproduced.
While the actual specifications of President Obama’s new luxury ride are kept secret, Texas Armoring engineers can get clients pretty close to the real thing with a whole lot more livery and luxury.
Texas Armoring announced that the base cost for a standard B7+ armoring package with state-of-the-art materials will start at over $200,000 USD and will offer superior protection against land mines, hand grenades, and black-market armor-piercing munitions.
The cost for the custom body build alone would be approximately $750,000-$1,000,000 USD. You could probably double that number to include the armoring cost. Overall, you’d be looking at around $2,000,000 USD for a single-unit order.

Why would anyone invent a limousine when they could very well buy one from an already established manufacturer. This Ukrainian limousine doesn’t look good no matter where you’re looking at it. But don’t let us be the ones to judge. Simply go through the pictures here and convince yourself. It does put the Ugly in “Ugly”.
