In what has been tagged as the most expensive car ever to come out of, the Lexus LFA Supercar took the Tokyo Motor Show by storm and dwarfing other car manufacturers on hand. The Lexus LFA is a limited edition supercar that will retail for a whopping $375,000. It features a lightweight carbon-fiber reinforced polymer body as well as suspensions made of lightweight-aluminum alloy. It also has carbon-ceramic breaks which all comprise its even allocated weight distribution of 48:52.

Other highlights of the Lexus LFA include a 4.8 liter V-10 engine paired with a 6-speed transmission which be sufficient for its boasted top speed of 202 MPH. Production for the limited edition Lexus LFA supercar will start December 10, 2010. Orders are now being taken at the Lexus LFA website.

It seems that a Jalopnik tipster has told them that there is a limited edition Porsche Supersport that will be based on the 911 Carrera 4S.

This vehicle will apparantly share the same widebody as the C4S while also featuring Fuchs-style wheels, a “double bubble roof”, ducktail spoiler, brown interior and gray exterior.

These rumors have yet to be confirmed by Porsche but if they are true you can expect this car sometime next year for upwards of $220,000.

Nissan’s 370Z is awesome in itself but the automaker is looking to make the car even more enticing recently announcing a Yellow GT4 coupe limited edition at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed.

This limited edition will feature an exclusive Ultimate Yellow paint job, 370Z decals and 19-inch allow rims. On the inside there is black leather seats, suede upholstery, illuminated sill plates, heated seats, satellite navigation and last but not least a BOSE sound system.

What really matters, however, is whats under the hood. This vehicle will feature a 3.7L V6 engine capable of 331PS and 270 pounds of torque. All of this coupled with a 6-speed manual transmission (or 7-speed automatic if you opt for it) make for a 0-62mph sprint of 5.3 seconds and an (unfortunately) restricted top speed of 155mph.

Nissan says that the Yellow will be made available at participating UK dealers for £31,650 with manual transmission or £33,050 for automatic. Unfortunately, there was no mention of a North American release.

Getting the opportunity to test drive one of the highly anticipated cars is something that is rare and combining this with the hottest show to date, you know that Ford Motors is going to be a hot topic in the coming days.

VIP passes for the Tuesday, May 19 private cinema viewing parties in each city will be distributed at the test drive locations on a first come, first served basis until capacity is reached. Once the VIP passes are distributed, a $10 gift card to a local major retailer will be presented to Fusion test drivers. All test drivers will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win an all-expenses-paid trip to attend the live “American Idol” finale in Los Angeles and a limited edition 2010 “American Idol” Ford Fusion. Grand prize winners will be notified on May 17, 2009.

Don’t be surprised if you see someone suddenly driving a 2010 Porsche 911 GT3 in North America some time soon. Chances are it that this person won it through an auction. Making its North America debut, a 2010 Porsche 911 GT3 will be auctioned at the event to support ESH college preparation programs and a state-of-the-art computer technology center for the residents of Mott Haven in the South Bronx.

Valued at $112,200, the lightweight, high performance GT3 is the latest in the new-generation 911 series and will be available at dealerships in fall 2009. The new 2010 Porsche 911 GT3 surpasses the previous model in performance with a larger 3.8-liter, 6-cylinder Boxer engine that features a boost in midrange torque, offering a dramatic increase in everyday driving performance. The limited-edition GT3 accelerates to 60 mph in just 4.0 seconds and reaches a top track speed of 194 mph. The latest GT3 also receives updates to the suspension, refined aerodynamics with a 100% increase in downforce and new, larger brakes.

We first heard of the limited edition Mercedez-benz McLaren SLR Stirling Moss back in December when it was announced to have been produced to commemorate British racer, Stirling Moss.

Well, new pics of the SLR Stirling Moss have emerged at this years Detroid Auto Show, and boy is it beautiful.

Don’t expect to own one of these, ever. Unless of course you already have a McLaren SLR as Mercedes is only making the 75 models available to current owners.

For the Lamborghini lovers, brace yourselves for the Lamborghini Mucielago LP650-4 Roadster. This is the new limited edition offering of Lambroghini which will reportedly be limited to only 50 units.

The car’s powertrain is still under wraps, but it’s expected to get a 650hp (485kW) V12 mill like that found in the Reventon. Typically ridiculous acceleration figures (about 3.4 seconds 0-62mph) are expected from the AWD platform.

The exterior is a special flat gray with bright orange accents on the side skirts and front lip, as well as in strategic locations inside the cabin. Dark alloy wheels finish off the dramatic exterior.

Inside, the car gets an asymmetric dashboard, acres of Alcantara and leather, and a few other unique touches. More information and photography is expected as the Geneva Motor Show draws nearer, though with the Superveloce already tipped for a Swiss debut, the Roadster may get pushed back to later in the year.

The design is something to be expected if you bring two minds in the person of designer Christian Audigier and Edo Competition but the LP710 is really something to marvel at. Audigier’s work is clearly noticed through the matte black exterior and the interiors, with a noticeable pirate theme and the sparkling skull.

The car has been rebuilt with new aerodynamics, wheels, tires and a new exhaust. Based on the Lamborghini Murciélago LP 640, the LP 710 features a stainless steel high performance exhaust system and 19-inch light alloy wheels. With the modifications, the modded car delivers 710hp of power and 700Nm of torque with its 6.5L V12 engine.

The car does 0-62mph in just 3.2 seconds, reaches 124mph in just under 10 seconds and touts a top speed of the 223.7mph (360km/h). The fastest Lamborghini to date comes for a cool €495,000 (US $692,500).
