Hardcore vehicles like the Jeep Cherokee XJS and Jeep Comanche MJ are bound to have some maintenance problems as far as motor mounts are concerned after some time and for sure, the proper support or mounts will eventually become a need.
And with the rough and tumble roads that these vehicles are exposed to, it is apparent that they need to go with the best. And if you talk about the best, go with the one that specializes for your ride such as Brown Dog Offroad.
“Engineered to bolt directly to Cherokee and Comanche OEM six-cylinder engine brackets, neither the mounts nor brackets require any modification,” reports Tim Shideler, Chief of Engineering, Brown Dog Offroad. Backed with a life-time warranty, the double-welded, all-steel motor mounts feature replaceable Classic Polyurethane or Ultra-Flex Rubber bushings.
Whether this happens accidentally or due to wear and tear, the next time you have it replaced, go with the reliable ones made especially for your Jeep. Never compromise on getting inferior and cheaper products because in the end, you may find yourself spending more than what you supposedly saved.

Chrysler has donated to vehicles to aid in the rescue efforts of the victims of the earthquake that hit Italy. Chrysler, in cooperation with its supplier, VM Motori S.p.A., has donated a Jeep Liberty (Cherokee model outside of North America) and a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited to the Italian Civil Protection Department (Dipartimento della Protezione Civile).
The Jeep vehicles were being used for diesel emissions testing and engine development at VM Motori, a diesel engine manufacturing company located in Cento, Italy.
“Chrysler LLC donated a Jeep Cherokee and Jeep Wrangler to the Italian Civil Protection Department so it has the additional resources it needs for response interventions and initiatives to assist the people of the Abruzzo region after this devastating disaster,” said John T. Bozzella – Senior Vice President, External Affairs and Public Policy/President, The Chrysler Foundation.

News about the opening of the James Bond Museum may be something many people would want to check out, particularly the ones who have watched most, if not all of his films. And one thing you should note is that aside from gadgets and sultry scenes, it is the cars that James Bond uses for every film that draws attention.
Leading the pack are a Lotus car and a Mustang from the early films that Bond used. Other cars expected to be revealed at the James Bond Museum include:
- Alfa Romeo GTV6 and 159
- AMC Concord, Hornet and Matador
- Jeep Cherokee, CJ-7 and Wagoneer
- Aston Martin DB5
- Audi Bentley Mark II
- BMW Z3 and Z8
- Ford Fairlane, Scorpio and Thunderbird
The list goes on. If you have time (and the money) to visit, you are sure to spend a large chunk of your time enumerating the cars driven by the all-time great British spy.
