While they aren’t busy recalling their Chinese vehicles due to faulty accelerator pedals, Ford is announced a few incentives to lure in potential buyers of their 2010 Focus.
If you opt to buy the 2010 Ford Focus you can get up to $3,000 cash back bringing the price down to just $13,290. Or you can get $500 cash back and 0% financing for 36 months. However, if you want to get down on this deal you better make haste as it only runs until March 31st.
Of course, Ford is sure to have some incentives after the 31st, as well.

With the huge mess dealing with Toyota’s recent recall, it was only a matter of time until another automaker would step in an capitalize on the problem. Who is that deal, you ask? GM, of course.
GMim has recently announced that they will be offering some deals and incentives to snag some Toyota customers. Basically, if you prove that you are a past Toyota owner, GM will give you $1,000 towards a down payment on one of their own vehicles. Additionally, they will be offering 0% financing for 60 months.
Pretty good idea on GM’s part but Toyota better hurry up and get their act together before they lose substantial market share.

With plans to introduce 100,000 electric cars and 25,000 charging stations, London looks like it will earn the title of being the electric car capital of the world. The move is seen as London’s initiative to fight the growing concern for the rising problems concerning carbon emissions. The same initiative is being done all over the world but nothing definitive in numbers have so far been bared similar to that of London.
And to entice consumers to embrace this new alternative, the usual incentives to drivers to switch to electric vehicles is of course included. If all works well, the new direction should help address London’s declining air quality, considered one of the worst in Europe.

The growing problem of reduce emissions has become a concern and various tactics to try and reduce them comes in various forms and resolutions. And if there is one driving factor that helps in reducing these harmful carbon emissions, it is that of financial incentive programs as proven by Emisstar LLC.
Emisstar Principal Glenn Goldstein said, “Our aim with this study was to analyze existing incentive-based emissions reduction approaches nationwide, and to recommend how a regional NGV financial incentive program could be developed and implemented in the New York area.” The Emisstar report was commissioned by NGV America, a national organization dedicated to the development of a growing, sustainable and profitable market for vehicles powered by natural gas or hydrogen.
The Emisstar report suggests a specific framework for a regional natural gas program that would offer incentives for the replacement of Class 6 through Class 8 diesel-fueled vehicles with new vehicles powered by natural gas. The report provides detailed recommendations regarding administrative processes and program criteria including vehicle eligibility, scrapping requirements, funding sources and thresholds based on emissions reduced.

2010 Ford Taurus
The 2010 Ford Taurus is will be going on sale in September and if you reserve your car early, you can get discounts ranging anywhere from $500 to $1000. This incentive is to entice buyers to pay now (or at least book now) and then hold off taking possession the car till the beginning of September.
Ford is especially targeting fleet owners with these incentives, because, as we know every little bit can help in these tough economic times. The new 2010 model has improvements over the previous one, and the company is hopeful it will be able to meet its sales targets.

Chrysler’s gas saving cards were way cooler before the economic crisis. Back when the gas was priced at $4 per gallon for fuel a $2.99 per gallon for three years was a good incentive to purchase a Chrysler.
But now, when gas has reached a low $2.15 per gallon price, the card is useless. There’s not pretty much you can do with it now, is it? Not that we’re hoping that the gas price will rise above $2.99 again, but some people out there are getting no savings for the cars they purchased.
