Yukon Denali Hybrid
Sunday, April 5th, 2009GMC is debuting a new addition to its hybrid product portfolio with the Yukon Denali hybrid at this years New York auto show. Mechanics are shared with the hybrid versions of the Yukon and the Sierra that match GM’s 6.0-liter Vortec V8 engine with 332 hp and 367 lb-ft of torque to a two-mode hybrid system. Electric power steering, regenerative braking and an electric air-condition compressor further better fuel savings.
GMC calculates city fuel economy of 21 mpg. Also expect standard luxury fare such as new 22-inch chrome wheels, leather seating and 12-way power front seats that are heated and cooled. The 2009 GMC Yukon Denali Hybrid will go on sale in May with a base price of $59,185 for two-wheel-drive models and $62,030 for four-wheel-drive versions.
