Without the two awards in the bag yet, the Kia Soul has already amassed a total of 30 awards and accolades including the red dot Design Award and Top Recommended vehicle for 2010. And should it bag these two awards as well, it will not be entirely surprising!

Pay By Phone Parking Technology Invades Sacrament, Ann Arbor and Texas

Friday, July 10th, 2009

Isn’t it annoying to fall in line and wait for your turn before you can safely pay for your car parking when you are in a hurry? Well those days are over as far as car owners in AnnArbor, Sacramento and Texas is concerned. Verrus just made life easier for them with the Pay by Phone Parking technology installed to improve city station lots.

Now people driving cars no longer have to worry about long lines and parking violations while on the run. With the new mobile payment scheme, they can carry on and just settle the parking fees while on the go so that they will not run into delays or be late for appointments or even classes.

“Our students really like the text message reminders and the ability to add time from anywhere and avoid possible citations. In addition, this system has made things much more convenient for us to operate. We spend a lot less time maintaining pay machines and processing credit cards manually.”

Toyota and Lexus Goes up the Rank with Segment Awards

Monday, June 22nd, 2009

Despite the recession and car sales issues, Toyota and Lexus have earned 10 Segment Awards in the 2009 J.D. Power and Associates Initial Quality Study. Lexus continues to lead with the LX 570, boasting of being one of the problem-free vehicles available in the market today.

“We’re quite pleased to lead 10 segments and Lexus’ top position overall,” said TMS President Jim Lentz. “The dependability of our vehicles has always been a major factor in the company’s success. The IQS 90-day feedback is just one measurement – along with warranty claims, long-term durability, resale value and buyer loyalty – that helps us gauge our overall quality.”

With these citations and feedbacks, it is apparent that Toyota and Lexus have continued in the injection of quality without compromise for its vehicles. And with these awards, Toyota can only look forward to improving its goal, making car production quality better and enhanced, something that motorists look for today.
