The Spanish racing team looks like it is planning to penetrate the Ferrari market with this new supercar called the GTA Spano. Packing a 780-horsepower V10, the lightweight supercar is made of carbon-fiber, Kevlar and titanium to help it get up to highway speeds from a standstill (0-60) in a blindingly fast 2.9 seconds.

It’s available with a choice of transmission options, and can even run on ethanol for an added boost. GTA says it will only build 99 examples of its first roadgoing sportscar, which will carry a pricetag in the neighborhood of $670,000.

Described as a steam kettle, this steam-powered car is aiming for a record and not really a means of addressing alternative means of power for the modern commuter. The three-ton vehicle, described as a giant kettle on top of a camping stove, has almost two miles of tubes inside its carbon-fiber-composite/aluminum frame. The team is expecting the 25-foot-long car to reach 200 mph during its record attempt at Bonneville Speed Week in September.

There are 12 boilers inside the car, which from the front resembles the love child of a Fifties UFO and a Roomba. These boilers heat up the 37 gallons of distilled water needed to push the vehicle to its top speed. Onboard tanks containing Liquid Petroleum Gas fire up the burners that heat the boilers, producing three megawatts of heat. That’s enough power to make 9,000 cups of tea.

Up for grabs is the luxurious and stylish Mansory Vincero oozing with $700,000 worth of upgrades. This tweaked Veyron now carries a value of $2.5 million, one of which is now available for sale in Abu Dhabi. The German-based exotic auto tuner boosted the car’s power to 1,109 hp, and the exterior is finished in high-gloss black and grey with chrome accents on the grille, front fenders and doors, and front and rear carbon fiber panels. Inside there’s two-tone black and white leather, ambient cabin lighting and custom F1-style shift paddles on the steering wheel.

The Bugatti Veyron is a pretty impressive package straight from the factory, but German-based exotic auto tuner Mansory obviously felt there was still room for improvement. Their conversion, produced in an ultra-exclusive limited edition of three for Abu Dhabi-based Prestige Cars, is dubbed the Vincero, Italian for (”I will win”).

With 1,109 hp and 967 lb-ft of torque produced by improved intake and exhaust systems along with Mansorys trademark engine tuning, thats no idle boast. The high-gloss black and grey version pictured here has chrome accents on the grille, front fenders and doors, and carbon fiber panels on the bonnet, rear engine cover, rear fascia and diffuser.

Fully custom forged wheels and LED headlight accents round out the exterior upgrades. Inside youll find two-tone black and white leather, alternating in smooth and woven finishes, ambient cabin lighting and custom F1-style shift paddles on the steering wheel.

The funny thing is that this Italian car will not be available in the U.S. but it would never hurt to give car onlookers at the Geneva Auto Show a tempting glimpse of what they are missing.

The MiTo GTA Concept takes the swoopy little MiTo and cranks up the speed and style. Weight reduction was a priority with a carbon fiber rear hatch, roof, and mirrors with aluminum used throughout.

Should this little puppy ever make production we’ll have yet another car to put on the list of necessary gray market imports.
