For most car enthusiasts, the car they have is the car they are proud to showcase. Depending on the variant or means that make your car stand out, why not let the world see it online in a virtual car show to showcase your vehicle?
Well, Cool Rides Online invites you to do so and it doesn’t matter what year, make or design it has. You know what it takes to showcase a car on standard car shows so you can get to it. Car lovers are invited to submit photos, specs and stories of their vehicles that will be featured on the site.
Each month, four vehicles will be chosen to be featured – three by the brand managers of STA-BIL, Iso-HEET and 104+, and the fourth by Gold Eagle’s Engine Answerman – Bobby Cleveland – driver of the World’s Fastest Lawnmower. Besides bragging rights, each featured vehicle will receive a certificate commemorating their car having been featured, and free product from Gold Eagle Co.

Everyone who is an avid follower of BMW knows for a fact that pricing and availability has already been announced last month. And following up that report, the BMW X5 Sports Edition is now officially available in the Middle East.
As we all know, Dubai has become the wise choice for debuting and targeting consumers who invest heavily on cars today. This is perhaps one of the reasons why the BMW group decided to push for the launch of the X5 series, knowing it can catch a good number of the car lovers market.
The BMW X5 Sport Edition takes the evolution of this class a step further by offering a range of features that further enhances the athletic appearance of this Sports Activity Vehicle. Available for the 4.8 and 3.0 engine variants, the Sports Edition delivers a number of M kit features, and high gloss BMW Individual roof rails.
While many BMW lovers are eagerly awaiting to get their chance of seeing this new BMW X5 Series made available in their own regions, the Middle East consumers get first crack at this latest luxury sports vehicle. How lucky can you get!

Car lovers who are crazy about well-kept vintage cars may very well want to check out the Knysna Motor Show. This event was made possible to help out charities and the Knysna Hospice. Over 120 vintage cars were on hand, including four Minis and four Morgan sports cars. This year the Morgan marque racks up a century of production and the Mini celebrates 50 years of motoring history
The cars showcased names that are legendary in the annals of motoring – Triumph, Austin Healey, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche and Citroen vied for attention with the likes of Morgan, MG, Austin, Morris, Jaguar and Ford. Almost a third of the vehicles at the Knysna Motor Show were the much-loved MG. A total of 33 MGs covered a range of six different models from 1947 onwards.

Getting into events such as the New York International Automobile Show can be frustrating especially if you expect a lot of people to be on hand. With millions of car lovers locally and abroad bound to be on hand, one can just imagine the chaos of getting simple tickets to the said affair. Thanks to the New York International Automobile Show, alternative ways of getting tickets have been announced.
The New York International Automobile Show announces three ways for consumers to purchase tickets to the 2009 exhibition, which begins April 10. The Show’s popular e-ticket program at www.autoshowNY.com allows visitors to buy tickets online, print them at their home or office and head straight to the Show.
Consumers can also use credit and debit cards to buy tickets at kiosks (similar to movie theaters) conveniently located throughout the Javits Center during the Show’s ten day run. And, as always, dozens of regular box offices will be open and available during Show hours.
“The New York Auto Show is always looking for ways to make our visitors’ experiences more enjoyable,” said show director Candida Romanelli. “And now with three ways to buy tickets, show-goers will spend less time in line and more time on the floor enjoying the nearly 1,000 new cars and trucks on display.”
To help speed the entry process, show management is adding even more specially marked entrances for e-ticket holders and those who purchase tickets at the new walk-up kiosks. These special entrances will allow visitors to bypass the regular ticket entrances, avoiding possible delays.
