On the other hand, these new CCTV cameras should be a sigh of relief for people who worry about their car as safe monitoring can lead to car theft prevention or any untoward incidents once you park your car and leave it to park for a while.

NCP announces the launch of a new type of car park monitoring system. Being one of the largest technically operated car parks in the world, they have added new technology from Siemens which promises to power the efficient monitoring and address customer concerns with something to hold on to.

Each control desk has a bank of six screens displaying real time audio and visual information including CCTV footage which is relayed back from each of the car parks. The new technology allows operators to connect directly to each entry and exit system, CCTV camera or pay station in any NCP car park across the UK, enabling 95% of customer problems to be resolved quickly and efficiently within minutes.

Other car parks, both large and small-scale structures are going to see the concept and technology that NCP has adopted. Car care and safety is something that many people are surely concerned about and if this new technology clicks, you can be sure that they will be upgrading their own to optimize their management of their own car park/s as well.

It looks like technology as far as car care and painting can expect something better in the near future if this polyurethane coating ever comes out in the market. Under the study made for this new technological product, Researchers have created a polyurethane coating that heals itself when exposed to ultraviolet light. Self-healing coatings could minimize upkeep and repair on a variety of products, saving consumers money and reducing waste.

The new compound is not the first man-made self-healing material. In 2001, researchers at the University of Illinois embedded tiny liquid-filled capsules in a polymer coating. When the coating cracked, the capsules ruptured, spilling healing agents into the damaged area and repairing it.

“It’s a new healing chemistry for polyurethane,” said Nancy Sottos, a materials scientist at the University of Illinois who was not involved in the new study.

This breakthrough will certainly draw cheers from people especially now that the number of people who opt to improve their cars through paint jobs are growing due to financial issues. With this technology, they are sure to enjoy better savings as far as car paint jobs are concerned.

Liquid waxes are good for cleaning, gloss, and durability but they can be more difficult to apply evenly and buff out. A paste waxe is good for ease of application but overall performance is not as good as with liquids.

Spray waxes are good for new cars with high quality finishes since new paint is still shiny and shouldn’t be oxidized. They also tend to be good for consumers looking for convenience, plastic compatibility, and spot waxing.
