After the Car Allowance Rebate System has been finally explained and understood, the next thing you would have to consider is what happens to those old cars traded in. Though not all of them are operable, you have to wonder if they will ultimately end up in the junkyard for scraps. But apparently not “all” of it will.

There are still parts that can be used. For cars, damage means only part and not in whole. Technically this is a form or recycling, offering motorists an alternative as far as cheaper spare parts just in case they don’t want to avail of the CARS program.

As for inoperable ones, they will end up as scrap metal for sure. Why would they be retained for no purpose other than to be reused for other purposes? This is of course all the other salvageable parts of the car that can be used has been taken out. And we all know the hundreds of parts that they carry.

The celebrated Car Allowance Rebate System is starting to show the fine prints which most motorists failed to look at. There are some small bits of highlights that people have forgotten to look into and this includes the higher rates for car insurance.

Apparently, when this CARS program was signed into law, much of the focus was into the amount they could get for their old cars. However, insurance premiums were not even considered nor mentioned by most motorists. The only thing that mattered was the savings they can get from the new car which incidentally was way off compared to an actual trade-in.

There had to be a catch and unfortunately this is one of them. Assuming you get the whole $4,500 rebate, you are still not getting the right value for your car. So as a wise motorist, why would you bite? Rather than spend on a new car, you are perhaps better off with your old one and with nothing to worry about.

Keep in mind that in whatever good deal you seem to get into, read everything to the last letter. Some may be aware while others are not. Just be wise on car buying choices. It may place you in a worse bind than when you simply had a functioning car which could be better compared to sacrificing the actual value it has over the market.

Much has been said about the celebrated Cash for Clunkers program and now, there is one company that has officially announces entertaining customers who wish to avail of such a program. Hyundai, known to be among the first in business and a lot of unique programs to entice sales breaks the ice as being the first official company to entertain customers who will avail of the Car Allowance Rebate System (CARS).

In fact there was already a first customer. Katherine Michon of Arlington, Virginia was the first to trade-in an eligible clunker for a new Hyundai, replacing her 15 mile-per-gallon 1995 Ford Explorer with a 26 mile-per-gallon Hyundai Elantra Touring, at Alexandria Hyundai in Alexandria, Virginia.

Hyundai buyers will receive the full rebate allocated under the CARS program (also known as “cash for clunkers”) when an eligible trade-in is exchanged for a qualifying Hyundai model. Hyundai is the first automaker to extend the government incentive to consumers, accelerating its implementation by several weeks by backing dealerships with short-term cash advances as the government organizes the rollout of the program industry-wide.

It was just a matter of time before anyone would think of it and apparently it has happened. I am talking about the scams associated with the Car Allowance Rebate System which seems to be now the target of lowdown people who are aiming to gyp people out of their money. And the medium is still through email which calls on interested people to register for the CARS or Cash for Clunkers program

www.cashforclunkersfacts.com posted a warning. We also urge consumers not to give out their social security numbers or other sensitive information to anyone calling or emailing them to register for the CARS program or the Cash for Clunkers program.

To check if you are eligible for the CARS program, all you have to do is go to the site and check it out for yourself. If they are qualified, they can go to a local dealer and purchase their new car. These are the only steps and nothing else.

Other than that, discard and disregard that email. Don’t add another headache to your growing pains of financial strains today.

To many, it will most likely be familiar as the controversial Cash for Clunkers deal. But regardless, Suzuki Motor Corporation is all for it, looking forward to the formal implementation of the Car Allowance Rebate System (CARS).

The new CARS law will provide consumers up to $4,500 when they trade-in their old cars for a new one. The qualifying cars under this new law signed by U.S. President Barack Obama covers cars, mini vans, SUVs and small light-duty trucks that get less than 18 mpg, and large light-duty trucks that get less than 15 mpg city/highway combined.

However there are certain conditions for passenger cars. If the new vehicle is at least four mpg more fuel efficient than the old vehicle, consumers will receive a $3,500 voucher toward a new vehicle. If the new vehicle is at least 10 mpg more fuel efficient than the old vehicle, the voucher is good for $4,500.

For reference purposes, here are the cars that Suzuki detailed as eligible for the new CARS law:

• All SX4 Crossover models
• All SX4 Sedan models
• All Grand Vitara models
• All XL7 models
• All Equator models (4-cyl and 6-cyl)
