A new campaign kicks off with a creative slogan for Nissan of North America, as it embraces the new challenges that the automotive industry has to deal with today. The new campaign, “Look Closer Nissan Deliver” is something that should help spice up the advertising efforts of Nissan, a boost that they need to make their car line exciting for consumers concerned.

Among the inclusions of this advertising campaign include a TV spot, print campaigns, interactivity, and direct mail. All these advertising campaign efforts started last July 8. The campaign was created in conjunction with Zimmerman Advertising, Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

In any shopping or consumer buying situations, discounts will always spur customer interest. This includes car buying as well to which Skoda brand manager Vlad Rusu has been witness to a lot of car buying cases where people will always ask for a discount before actually buying a vehicle.

“Under the current circumstances, no car can be sold unless the client is offered a discount. Even when offered a good price from the beginning, they still ask for a discount,” says Vlad Rusu, summing up the situation on the local automotive market.

The representatives of Porsche Romania, the importer of the Skoda brand on the domestic market, believe the increase in sales in March was because of the discount campaigns, estimating the sales to revert to where they were in the first two months after they run out of stocks.

“In March we had more than 1,500 orders, almost double the number in the previous months, because of the discount campaigns conducted by dealers,” Vlad Rusu explained.

In an effort to strengthen the brand recall for its 2010 Ford Fusion and other cars, Ford has partnered with Gas Station TV to provide powerful Echo Ads to help reaffirm the advertiser’s initial message or can complement an alternate marketing message.

Echo Ads move the viewer to action, with directional tags or specific action requests, such as a visit to the advertiser’s Web site, drive to retail location, or to use a mobile phone to receive more product information.

Gas Station TV’s Echo Ad offering is a strategically placed 5- or 10-second spot that runs in addition to the advertiser’s initial 15- or 30-second spot during the Gas Station TV network programming experience. The second ad allows advertisers to increase message frequency, further drive action and raise metrics for overall campaigns.

Ford is the first advertiser to run an Echo Ad campaign on the Gas Station TV network beginning March 16. The Echo Ad service offering was initially created to complement the 2010 Ford Fusion + Hybrid launch campaign, inform consumers about the product, introduce them to the product’s message and bring consumers to action by driving them to visit the nearest Ford dealership and http://www.fordvehicles.com.
