Rumor has it that the next-generation Chevrolet Corvette would be suffering a delay. However, GM confirmed today that the C7 Corvette will begin production in April 2012, and be released as the 2013 model. No other information has been announced, and we probably won’t be hearing anything else for a long time. Only speculation can be made about the engine, design, etc. but nothing will be official.

Citroen C7

Scheduled to possibly launch as early as 2010, the Citroen C7 Concept is in essence a 4-door, 4-seat sedan with coupe-like dimensions, which shows off a refined and graceful exterior with a narrowing rear section. To allow for a better field of vision to the front seat passenger while at the same time affording privacy to the rear seat passengers, the mounting line of the side windows gives the car an unique look.

This futuristic car also sports a swiveling front passenger seat that rotates to a 180-degree angle to interact with the paasengers sitting in the rear seat. The Citroen C7 will be spacious enough to comfortably accommodate four adults. We’ll keep our eyes open for this one.

Now take a look at the picture above! Wouldn’t you like to drive that? Who knows when that will be possible… Well actually that’s the Corvette S limited edition for Japan. The C7 is yet to come, unless it won’t! But I am sure the C7 would be a great car to drive!

Autonews is reporting that the C7 Corvette is going to be put on an indefinite hold. Not canceled yet but it might just get canceled if the current financial situation of GM won’t be solved soon. The C7 might be available in 2014 or even later. That’s not that bad but not good either!
