Chevrolet and GM have recently come forth to give us a bit of details on their Corvette C6.R GT2 that is set to race in Ohio this Saturday and for the remainder of the 2009 ALMS season.
This vehicle will feature a 7.0-liter V8 engine and a shorter stroke crankshaft making for a ridiculously fast race car. Furthermore, next year the car will again be updated with a smaller, 5.5-liter V8 engine that will be produced at the GM Performance Powertrain Center which also producers parts for the Corvette ZR1 and Cadillac CTS-V.
