Toyota Corolla Altis 2.0V Revealed in Indonesia and Thailand

Indonesia and Thailand pay host to an all-new Toyota Corolla Altis. The new model is the 2.0V variant, carrying a more powerful engine for the widely popular Toyota variant. This and a lot of new features like a mesh grille are in store for people who are aching to get the latest look Altis once it comes available in other countries as well.
Under the hood of this updated Altis is the 3ZR-FE which has Dual VVT-i which means variable valves on both the intake and exhaust. While more modern than the 1AZ-FE VVT-i found in the Camry, it’s still not the top of the range 2.0 liter from Toyota as the current crown is held by the 158 PS 3ZR-FAE with Valvematic continuous valve lift control, eliminating the need for a throttle butterfly.
With more power and a slightly modified look, expect this new model to be asked for as well. The Toyota Altis has been a people’s choice and now equipped with a more powerful engine, it is bound to prove something different from past default models.
