Nissan Makes GPS Features Standard for Vehicles

Tuesday, December 1st, 2009

Nissan has done something that may not get much attention for most motorists but logically helpful. Nissan Motors is making it a standard feature for all its vehicles (Sentras included) to have GPS systems. While you can always get a GPS system anywhere at varying prices depending on what features you want, having one when you drive out that brand new car is better. No more worries on mounting or where to place them. Nissan will do all that for you.

This nav option is only $400. The standard GPS system carries a 5” screen which should make it easier to view, especially if you want to put a GPS system to good use.

Reconditioning Cars with Used Airbags

Monday, June 15th, 2009

When it comes to making do with used cars, safety precautions is included. Among them include that of locating used airbags that can still provide motorists a safer way of driving. One thing that many car buyers know is that not all their cars (later models) carry the premium features a brand new car has. But they can always work their way towards that niche, something that may even be cheaper if they are looking in the right places.

As far as airbags are concerned, they can turn to groups like Airbagcenter.com. Repair centers have turned to Airbagcenter.com for the customer wants, airbags of which are at the top of the list. Other than safety, they cost better but ultimately it is the functionality of these used car airbags that really matters. And thanks to an online quoting system, repair centers can ask for quotes on these used airbags, check if they are on hand and then shown for approval of motorists.

“It is simple”, says Brandon, a purchasing agent, for Integrity Auto in Miami, Florida. “I logon and request quotes for the cars I am working on and in a short time an e-mail arrives with prices and availability.”

Repair shops recognize Airbagcenter.com as an extension of their purchasing team. The online system gives repair shops the ability to find other parts for their projects while the Airbagcenter.com locates the replacement airbags.

Hyundai Announces Return Your Car Incentive

Tuesday, January 6th, 2009

In a move that is certain to entice car buying, Hyundai has relaxed its car lending policies by allowing people to return their cars if they lose their jobs. The program is only applicable to buyers who purchase their car within a year.

This is a move that will certainly be favorable to car buyers who are caught in possible layoffs. Many potential car buyers who want to buy a brand new vehicle are hesitant these days mainly because of fear that they may not be able to pay off their monthly amortization if they should be laid off.

In a way, you can look at this scenario as similar to car rentals. The only thing is you are getting a brand new Hyundai which can be yours if you can fulfill the monthly obligations for at least a year. Not a bad deal if you are dying to own a brand new car.

Low Interest Loans Will Attract Buyers and Debt

Wednesday, December 31st, 2008

Practically all businesses are desperate to improve their sales and this piece of news sounds disturbing though good if you are aching to own a brand new car. Report has it that car loan interests will be shot down to entice vehicular sales which is fine and good. But the thing is, it will also add to the woes of debt and receivables, a prime suspect as to why big name car manufacturers are operating on the red at the moment.

Is it a good move? Depending on your standpoint, it can be varying. For one, with practically zero interest in car financing, why not grab the opportunity? What is the basis of it all sales or income? If it is sales then well and good! Income? Highly unlikely!

Remember, receivables are notes obliging a buyer to pay. But what if he defaults? What if he goes into hiding or declares bankrupt himself? Now for the big three (General Motors, Chrysler and Ford), that would only aggravate their problems and perhaps tow in the other car distributors (Toyota, Mazda, or Mercedes Benz) as far as losses in car sales is concerned.
