The LA Auto Show is the next event in line. We’ve virtually attended to the Paris Motor Show and now we’re ready for the next thing.

One of the cars to be displayed on this show is the Lexus RX or better said, the next RX generation. We don’t have that many details about the new RX but I am sure we would be pleasantly surprised. The RX is expected to grow by five inches but we don’t have anything hotter than that. Luckily it will be November soon, so we will get those features we are looking for.

We have more concept cars for you so bear with us. The Bugster is a fiat concept car which will be launched at the Sao Paulo International Auto Show. It looks like a great ride and I’d certainly pick it up over the Insecta we’ve seen before. And with the Bugster you’ll be able to get yourself a date and drive her/him around.

This concept car should also be environment friendly. We don’t have any details but the Sao Paolo Auto Show should get us all the specs we need. Let’s see if Fiat will send the Bugster to massve production.

Here you have it folks, it’s the Mini E, or the first electric and electric only Mini. You will get 204 hp of an electric motor similar to the Tesla. The E will get a range of 150 miles off the 35 kWh lithium-ion battery it carries. It reaches 60 miles in a little over 8 seconds and you only need to have it plugged in for 2.5 hours to have it fully charged.

The car will be launched at the LA Auto Show later next month and BMW is planning to lease 500 units to commercial and private customers in California, New York and Jersey early next year. Interested in one? Get in line then. The Mini E might be just the car for me…

The Prius images that you might have spotted around the web recently were showing the 2010 Toyota Prius. People debated their origin and not everyone believed they are the real thing. Well it looks like Toyota has confirmed those are the shots of the next 2010 Toyota Prius.

We will get all the hot details sometime in 2009 at the Detroit auto show in January but until then you can stay assured that the new improved Prius is coming.

It looks like this mini car from Toyota is coming to the U.S. The iQ seems like a scooter with doors to me but it might get you places. It will arrive at the LA Auto Show in November and the Toyota will be wearing Scion badges.

The iQ was designed for Japan and Europe initially. It has a weird 3+1 seating arrangement and it’s powered by a 1.0 liter three-pot or a 1.4 liter diesel engine. We might see Yaris’ 1.5 liter engine mounted on the iQ designed for the States.

So the Scion iQ might get a price tag of only $15,000. Pretty expensive for a scooter, but it has space for 3+1 inside.

How do you like this concept car in the pictures here? It’s the MMR25 Rally Racer from Mitsubishi and it’s the model chosen to enter this year’s LA Auto Show design competition. Last year’s theme was “green” and this year’s theme is Motorsport 2025.

The MMR25 certainly looks like the future race car. It works on four lightweight, high-efficiency, in-wheel electric motors. Their output will be boosted by eight additional motors. The batteries will get you about 1,000 miles on a charge. Besides keeping the much needed power, the batteries will also lower the center of gravity bringing better stability to the table.

If you think the wheels are funny that’s because the MMR25 has an “8×4″ wheel drive. Every single wheel has an independently controlled electric motor. Driving, drifting, moving sideways is now possible with this unique concept.

The driver sits inside the center wing. There’s no actual windows but the driver has a 360-degree panoramic screen which will display all the images around him like he would see them through a glass.

Well do I get one? I only have about 17 years to wait for it!

The Mini Cooper is a car I’d like to drive from time to time. There’s something magical about this small car. After all I wouldn’t go ahead and drive any small car.

The new convertible Mini, called R57 is said to be unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show in January. While the overall exterior design seems to have very little changes, you’ll find more significant changes under the hood. There’s a new 1.6 liter BMW/PSA/Peugeot-Citroen engine to power the new convertible.

All we need now is official launch details and more detailed pictures of the new convertible.

Teasers can be the most effective campaigns when it comes to upcoming cars. I don’t thing the 2010 Ford Mustang doesn’t have enough publicity already, but some teaser shots will always come in handy.

Here we have the seats and the center console. The seats seem good looking and I would assume they will be more than comfortable. The center console has a little door in the middle for all that stuff we end up with in our car and it works perfectly as an arm rest.

The whole 2010 Ford Mustang will be shown later in November at the Los Angeles Auto Show. Until then we’re going to take in whatever we can find about it.

Here’s something we don’t get to see every day! David Frem, a 25-year-old Lebanese student has designed thie Frem F1 concept. It took him just about 3 years of design and fabrication until the Frem F1 prototype or the F2 was finished. The car will be available to watch at the Detroit Auto Show in January.

The F1 has a 2.0 liter VW engine which combined with an Audi gerbox will get you about 124 mph. Not that fast right? We need more horsepower. The design reminds me of a Ferrari. Not much to be done there right? It’s the interior and the engine under the hood to be taken care of. And with three months to go until Detroit, it could be done. Waiting for an F3 concept car then?

Mazda has a concept car ready for the 2008 Paris Motor Show. The Kiyora is an urban car concept. It’s not an electric car and it’s not a hybrid car since Mazda is still waiting for the cost of batteries to decrease before entering the alternative engine market.

The Kiyora, which means clean and pure in Japanese will have a four-cylinder direct injection engine. It will also have the Smart Idle Stop System which helps you save gas and reduce CO2 emissions. The car is said to bring improved aerodynamics and a whole new platform designed to maximize weight reduction.

If in Paris you’ll be able to check the concept car. We don’t know if it will ever hit mass production but it’s looks pretty enough to be checked out.
