You can add another feature to look forward to for upcoming Chrysler vehicles. Audiovox has announced that they will start supplying Chrysler dealers with FLO TV Entertainment System which should perk up the in-car entertainment being demanded today.
The FLO TV service is live mobile TV with the capacity for up to 20 channels with something for everyone. This includes programs like sports, news, children’s shows and reality TV. The system includes a OE headrest DVD and seat top solutions which can integrate with factory rear seat entertainment systems. A Mopar 7” DVD screen, remote controls and a small antenna is also included, promising better car entertainment for future Chrysler vehicle owners.

For those car owners who want the best security system for their cars, Directed Electronics Inc. has announced the availability of the new Viper 350 Plus vehicle security systems are now available at authorized Viper retailers worldwide. Introduced at the 2009 Consumer Electronics Show (CES), the Viper 350 Plus is an upgrade to the all-time best-selling Viper 350, featuring new-style 4-button remotes with dedicated arm and disarm buttons.
Other enhancements include the Control Center – a combined antenna, Valet switch and status LED in one unit – which means no more drilling holes in the dash. The Viper 350 Plus also now features a super-heterodyne XR+ receiver, for range of up to a quarter mile. With an MSRP of just $239, this is the most affordable Viper security system on the market. Available at the same low price are the new Python 460 Max and Clifford Matrix +1, also introduced at CES.

Now this may seem like overdoing the 50th year of Barbie a little bit but Fiat has revealed plans to unveil a special edition pink Fiat 500. The show car has been made in collaboration with Mattel. The Barbie has earlier been dressed up in a Ferrari driver’s uniform with racing helmet for the 2000 Scuderia Ferrari Barbie collector’s toy. The pink Fiat 500 will be driven by Ken.
The new Fiat Barbie comes with crystal-encrusted hubcaps, window moldings and antenna. The outline of the doll can be found on the car’s pillars and the cover shows a ’60s version of the Fiat 500 and a Barbie autograph. A number of Barbie editions have been rolled out in the past, including a light pink Chevrolet Corvette convertible and many editions of Ferrari Barbie. The 2001 Ferrari Barbie wore a red evening gown and a silvery hair ornament that resemble the Prancing Horse logo.
The pink Fiat 500 Barbie edition will be unveiled on March 2009 during anniversary celebrations for the world-famous doll.
