Waldorf Nomad

When GM first exhibited the 1954 Waldorf Corvette Nomad, it is said to have yielded a fair amount of interest, but the car maker never sent the car into production. However, the idea has lived on and the car will finally become a reality, albeit in a different way.

The Superior 54 Sport Wagon from Superior Glass Works is a “tribute” to the Waldorf Nomad. The car has a fiberglass body on an Art Morrison chassis. Power will come a LS V8, while the front and rear suspension and transmission owe their pedigree to the Corvette C5. It will be limited to just 25 units selling for $125,000 each.
