The gang at n2a Motors is in the process of developing the Stinger which is a modern take on the Corvette Stingray. It is based around the C6 Corvette chassis and will feature design elements from the Stingrays of the 1960s, only with the power of the ZR1 – a 6.2L, 638hp (476kW) supercharged LS9 V8 engine.
A combination of the light weight composite material the body panels will be made of and the custom work on the interior, the Stinger is predicted to equal or improve on the ZR-1’s performance, including a 0-60mph run in just over 3 seconds and with a top speed over 200mph (320km/h). Presently n2a is being very close lipped with the details, but a range of design sketches and development models are available to view in the mean time.
