Sony has definitely stepped up at CES with its new line of products. They didn’t launch a car but they did launch a new Xplod car stereo lineup. You have eight new models to choose from to bring you music to your call.
The Sony MEX-BT5700U comes with a front USB port ready for music players including Apple’s iPhone and iPods. It has Bluetooth support and you will be able to access your phone’s phonebook info and access phone functions using that head unit. That’s Sony top head unit and it will sell for $300 in June.
The MEX-BT3700U has basically the same features of the MEX-BT5700U but without all that song and phone data transfer. And it will cost just $200. The MEX-BT2700 has the same features of the MEX-BT3700U but it comes without the USB port and therefore it sells for only $160.
The CDX-GT430U also has an USB port which can connect to almost everything except for Apple’s products. It will cost $130 and it will arrive later this month. The CDX-GT530UI comes with iPod compatibility and it will cost $140 later this month. The CDX-GT730UI has a front USB port and a detachable, motorized faceplate with full-motion display and colored illumination. It will cost $200 and it will arrive this month too. The CDX-GT930UI will add a rear USB port to that CDX-GT730UI which will cost you an extra $30.
Last but not least we have the CDX-GT77UI in the picture here, which will fit virtually any car and it will work with Apple products. It will cost $250 and it will be available sometine next month.

Thank you for review. Interesting model. Does it occupy 2 DINs? It seems it large for the functions it perform.
