Desperation can make people do crazy things and it seems that some Americans are setting fire to their cars for insurance because they can’t make the payments on their cars and are hoping to get a quick insurance claim settlement.
The vehicles are apparently reported as stolen and they are left in places where the police (or someone else) will find them. As a consequence, the number of insurance claims have been steadily in the rise and insurance companies are now scrutinizing all the cases closely, so that they are not becoming fraud victims.
