If you’re a fan of racing, you’ll likely have at least heard of the Shelby Daytona Coupe as it had a successful run in the mid 60’s as has gone on to become a very iconic car. The only downside is you’ll have to part with a ridiculously large sum of money to get your hands on one now a days. However, it seems that there is now an alternative.
Shelby Distribution has today announced the forthcoming release of the Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe MKII, a modernized remake of the Daytona Coupe of yesteryear.
The car will feature the same general design as the original Daytona Coupe but will feature modern technology such as electric windows, updated suspension and improved cooling. Pricing starts at $89,000 which isn’t bad for such an iconic remake.
