Saudi bans inappropriate license plates, “USA” as well
It was recently made known that the Saudi Arabian government has issued a new form of license plate to be used in their country. As you can see above, the license plate features 4 squares, 2 filled with Arabic letters, one with numbers, and one with English letters that could be customized.
Well, according to Autoblog, Saudi is putting their foot down and making sure that no inappropriate license plates get through. They have apparently banned the use of “SEX”, “ASS”, and even “USA”.
There’s no explanation as to why “USA” was banned but I think we can take a hint when another country doesn’t like us.
