How crazy are you about you car? How crazy are you about your iPhone? If you love them both there’s a way now to combine them when using them together.

I am not exactly sure why you’d want to deplete your battery while running Rev in your car. With it the iPhone will be able to read info from the OBD-II port of your car and show it on your iPhone. You will get speed, RPM, fuel consumption, engine load and other similar statistics.

If you want to use it, you’ll have to check back with its creator, DevToaster. The developer is working on the OBD-II/WLAN interface needed for getting information from the phone to the iPhone. If not you can do what you did before the iPhone hit the market: rely on your car to get all that info!
