To help curb carbon emissions and also entice car sales, Renault has unveiled a great stimulus plan that will certainly work to everyone’s advantage. Under the agreement, old cars can be traded in for lower-emission models that will be supported by a government-sponsored 1,000 euro bonus.
This plan is expected to boost car sales for Renault while at the same time helping improve the environmental issues concerning old cars that emit large amounts of carbon emissions. Also, it is a big boost to help Renault ward off the impending economic crisis.
Renault calculates that orders in December were 40 percent higher in France than they would have been without the incentive, he said. The French car maker has extended the bonus scheme to car buyers trading in older models for younger used cars.
