Just as we had told you last week, the Cash for Clunkers program is officially coming to an end tonight at 8PM EST. For those of you who aren’t familiar with EST time, that’s in about an hour and a half.
Anyways, if you’re looking to cash in on this program, stop reading, get in your clunker and head to your local dealership because you don’t have much time. In fact, Autoblog reports that as of 7:47 AM this morning, over $2.65 billion of the $3 billion allocated has been used up.
So, I’ll say it once more, if you’re still looking to trade in your vehicle and get up to $4,500 from the government you have to do it now as there is less than an hour and a half remaining until the Cash for Clunkers doors close for good.
