Pininfarina B0 Electric Car at Paris Motor Show
Pininfarina is already a known company thanks to their electric bikes, and their popularity in the alternative energy market has grown by presenting the B0 Electric Car. Unlike what happens with other cars of the same kind, this isn’t a prototype, which means the car will reach the mass production mode and will become available to the public in 2010.
The Pininfarina B0 is made in cooperation with Bolloré, and they will use a mix of batteries + supercapacitors in order to make it really good. The battery can be recharged in a couple of hours, and the vehicle has a maximum range of 250km, with a top speed of 130km/h.
As for the acceleration, to reach 60km/h it will only take about 7 seconds.
PS – solar panels are included in the roof and hood.
