After the announcement that GM would put the HUMMER brand on the market there was word of several out-of-country potential buyers with India’s Mahindra leading the pack.
Well it sees the tables have turned because Mahindra’s Vice Chairman, Anand Mihandra, has recently said that they are not pursuing the HUMMER brand. This leaves just India’s Tata Motors as a potential buyer for the brand.
With GM posting losses as high as $18 billion dollars for the first half of this year, and a shorter and shorter list of buyers for their HUMMER brand, what is to come of the beloved GM? Only time will tell at this point.
