Nissan’s recovery program actually works
This economic crisis thing has caused many companies to lose a lot of money, and Nissan put EVP Colin Dodge in charge of a task force to stop that happening.
The company already lost 2.4 billion dollars in the last fiscal year, and it would appear that things have already been in place to make sure that won’t happen again.
In fact, Dodge is about ready to disband his little task force because “we’re not losing money anymore”.
Say what? I suppose all those new programs actually worked? Was there any government bailout involved? I hope not.
Hey, Nissan, don’t celebrate too early with a “Mission Accomplished” banner just yet. The last time I saw one of those it was on an aircraft carrier, and it still hasn’t come to pass.
