Audi just recently announced that they will give Cash for Clunker buyers an additional $1,000 when they purchase one of their vehicles so it would only make sense that additional automakers would come up with similar deals.
Nissan is next in line with a round of incentives that will run through August 31st.
Below is the full list of incentives:
- 2009 Nissan Altima Coupe and sedan: $1,500 cash back or 1.9% financing for 60 months
- 2009 Nissan Armada: $4,000 cash back or 1.9% financing for 60 months
- 2009 Nissan Frontier: $2,500 or 0.9% financing for 60 months
- 2009 Nissan Maxima: $1,750 cash back or 2.9% financing for 60 months
- 2009 Nissan Murano: $500 or 2.9% financing for 60 months
- 2009 Nissan Pathfinder: $2,500 cash back or 1.9% financing for 60 months
- 2009 Nissan Quest: $3,000 cash back or 0.9% financing for 60 months
- 2009 Nissan Rogue: $500 cash back or 2.9% financing for 60 months
- 2009 Nissan Sentra: $2,000 cash back or 0.9% financing for 60 months
- 2009 Nissan Xterra: $2,000 or 1.9% financing for 60 months
Let’s hope that this will make automakers jump on board and give consumers further discounts when using the Cash for Clunkers program.

[...] this is because of the additional funding. With the new influx of funds for the program, there is no rush needed to avail of the said deal. [...]
