If rumors are to be believed there may be a two-seater Honda Civic Type-R hatchback in the works over at Honda’s contracted tuner, Mugen.

According to EVO, speculation says that this new vehicle will be based on the Honda Civic Type R hatchback currently out in Europe but with some very noticeable differences. First of all, the car will have the upgraded suspension, Brembo breaks, and 18-inch alloy wheels found on the above Mugen tuned car but will most likely get rid of the rear seats altogether to make for a lighter car.

There is no telling on when or even if this car will come out but lets hope it does at a price that we can actually afford.
